A great idea was generated of introducing off-road racing motor sport events in Pakistan.
Since the great idea was to have a soft image of Pakistan, as off-road racing motor sport event can be a huge entertainment for the people of Pakistan then there was no other day to be assigned then the 14th of August (Independence Day of Pakistan).
When we talk about off- road racing event the first thing that comes to our mind is the rugged terrain. The best natural off- road terrain and with its natural beauty, Balochistan best suits the purpose and at the same time will bring Balochistan more close to Pakistan and the rest of the world.
“Freedom Rally Pakistan” is the official name given to this Off-road racing event which will be held on 14th of August in Baluchistan every year started in 2004.
The 1st Freedom Rally was held in Pushukan, Balochistan in 2004, with 19 participants about 45 Km away from Gwadar City. The track was marked 110 Km with all the basic security and requirements.
The entire local media channels gave extensive coverage to the “Freedom Rally” event specially the GEO Television Network.
